Why do I put up with this? I can’t.
I try to be better but I’m selfish. I am.
I’m running out of patience and reason to have any strand of optimism. I said I’d stop looking back at the past, but the past is a poltergeist. A ghost that torments me. Attached to me wherever I go, whatever I do.
Ah, I had said I wouldn’t write any more of such heavy things. But this is all my heart ever wishes to say. It whines in heated words and cries through burning tears. Carving out screams of silent lament, on a digital canvas littered with anonymous strangers who could care less if I exclaimed that pigs fly and tomorrow will never end.
